Replacing the EZ-Start Motor
If your EZ-Start motor has gotten tired or has stopped working altogether you need to replace it with a new EZ-Start Motor.
The replacement EZ-Start motor for the EZ-Start 2 (TRX 2.5, 2.5R and 3.3) is part number 5279. Remove the 5276 EZ-Start gear set first so that you can access the 2.6x8CM screws that hold the EZ-Start motor in place.
The EZ-Start gear set for the EZ-Start (Pro .15) is part number 4576. It is not necessary to open the EZ-Start gear box to replace the EZ-Start motor.
